Through working with the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, we are using our expertise to produce enzymes from insect pest species. These enzymes have been implicated in conferring resistance to insecticides and the products can now be used in in vitro screens to look for resistance liabilities in novel insecticidal compounds.
