The pandemic has been undoubtedly challenging; daily life has changed in ways that were once unfathomable. While it’s been a turbulent time across the globe, it’s been encouraging to see local communities, charities and businesses championing and supporting one another.

Although we’ve had to adapt, at Cypex we’ve managed to keep busy producing enzymes and supporting the drug development efforts of our clients from our base in Dundee. We feel exceptionally fortunate that business has held up better than we expected a year ago. We, like many others, have recognised the need to help those looking out for the most vulnerable people in our society. To support the wider community, we’ve recently made a donation to Cash for Kids.

Cash for Kids supports disadvantaged children across Tayside and Fife, these children may be living in poverty, suffer from neglect or have a life-limiting illness or disability. Last year, they supported 13,521 children affected by poverty.

Our donation will support Cash for Kids to continue offering a lifeline to families in the local area, including distributing toys, clothing, bedding, and supporting crucial projects that help children get into education.
