We have hosted visits from local students for fifteen years, and recently welcomed some 3rdyear BSc Biomedical Science students from Abertay University in Dundee to our laboratory.
Michael Pritchard, lead scientist at Cypex Ltd commented: “Our team is committed to sharing knowledge with industry peers and new talent. We regularly host visits from local universities and are actively engaged with students around the world to inspire the next generation of biomedical scientists. It’s always a pleasure to share our knowledge and we enjoy learning about the new techniques and practises that the University is developing.”
Dr Yusuf Deeni, Senior Lecturer at Abertay University, added: “Demonstrating how the skills we teach in the classroom are applied in a commercial business is important for our students.
