Note:The kinetic parameters given above were determined using tolbutamide concentrations from 40 - 500 µM, as the limit of solubility is reported to be around 740 µM. The margin of error is therefore likely to be high. The tolbutamide 4-hydroxylase activity of CYP2C41LR Bactosomes at 500 µM tolbutamide is approximately 0.5 pmol/min/pmol CYP.
